Jerry Seinfeld launches his own TV project, a comedy show in which comedians and celebrities will debate on other stars marriages.
The actor will collaborate with Oprah Winfrey’s producer. The show will be called “The Marriage Ref” and will pay more attention to small details in people’s marriages.
In the show, couples who argue will present their own views on the conflicts in their relationship while “experts” such as comedians, politicians and celebrities, will try to convince “The Referee”, selected by Seinfeld, to decide in favor of the husband or wife.
A team member will transmit live from the couple’s home at the time of the verdict to capture the reactions.
Seinfeld said the idea came when he had a argue with his wife, Jessica Skylar, in front of a friend, who was asked to decide who was right. Later, his wife convinced him to develop the idea into a television program.
