Antonio Banderas will launch his own motorcycling teamOctober 11, 2009
Spanish actor Antonio Banderas, a motorcycling passionate, will launch his own team for next season, which will compete in the World Championships Moto 2, the category that will replace the 250 cc in 2010, announced the Spanish television channel TVE1.
The new team, which could be called ‘Banderas Racing Team’ or ‘Antonio Banderas Team’ will be included in Moto 2, but the broadcaster added that the actor is already thinking about the Moto GP, the supreme category. The new team pilots are not yet known.
Aged 48 years, Banderas has been riding a motorcycle the last 30 years and follows with great interest the motorcycling World Championships.
