Kanye West, 50 hours of community service after an altercationOctober 25, 2009
Justice proves to be gentle with the Hollywood stars. Kanye West received only 50 hours of community work after a scuffle with a paparazzo, at the Los Angeles airport in September 2008.
A commissioner of the Court canceled all charges against the rapper and his manager, and the case was settled out of court.
West’s lawyer argued that the musician was “unduly accused” and added that the star and his manager, Don Crawley, already received 12 courses of anger management.
Mark Zuckman, the Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner annulled the case, but still wants the men to perform 50 hours of community service.
