Clint Eastwood, nominated “Man of the Year” by GQ magazine

November 20, 2009

After two weeks ago was awarded by Nicolas Sarkozy, the French Legion of Honor medal, Clint Eastwood was named “Man of 2009” by U.S. GQ magazine.

Director and actor, aged 79, managed to beat celebrities like President Barack Obama or fashion designer Tom Ford, and at the GQ party, he was literally “hunted” by journalists.

Clint Eastwood was named Icon of the Year and will appear on the first page of a special edition in December.

Among other men of the year are actor from Star Trek, Chris Pine, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis from The Hangover, but also American football player Tom Brady.

Not bad for an octogenarian…
