50 Cent will finance a movie about his mentor in music

Rapper 50 Cent has announced his intention to finance a documentary about the murder of DJ Jam Master Jay from the legendary band Run-DMC to bring a tribute to the man which he considers his mentor in music.

50 Cent says he would have never become a superstar in the world of hip-hop if he would not be met the famous DJ, on his real name Jason Mizell, so when he heard that his nephew is seeking financial resources to make this documentary, entitled “Two Turntables & A Microphone”, didn’t stayed long before he decided to support the project.

DJ Jam Master Jay was born in 1965 and died in late October 2002. He was assassinated by a drug dealer for unexplained reasons.

Now, Jennifer Lopez is trying her best to stop her former husband from putting her into a delicate situation, by publishing the records. Although she is now happily married to Mark Anthony and a mother of two children, it seems that the Latin diva can’t find her peace because of her former husband.


“Friends” – the movie

The six actors are ready to work again for the sake of a box office success.
Following “Sex and the city” model, the “Friends” stars would come together to hit the box office with a film that follows on from the series.
The announcement was made by the British publication News of the World, which reveals that the producers are ready to ‘break’ the treasury to give fans a grand production.
The actors became famous with the delicious adventures of the series, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, will meet all on the set for the first time after the end of the tenth season of the series in 2004.
But fans will have to be patient, because the film will not be released until the summer of 2011.


Michael Douglas and Matt Damon – gay couple

Actors Michael Douglas and Matt Damon give hand for a new professional challenge. The two will play a gay couple in a film that will present the life of Wladziu Valentino Liberace, a pianist of great popularity in the 1950s, in the United States.


Director Steven Soderbergh has confirmed the participation of the two celebrities. Douglas will play Liberace, famous for his classic songs, who publicly acknowledged his homosexuality, and Damon will play the role of Scott Thorsen, personal assistant to the pianist and his alleged lover.
The two arrived in court after Thorsen asked Liberace damages exceeding 100 million dollars and recognition of their five years relationship. Liberace died in 1987 at 67 years because of AIDS.
Soderberg, who worked with Douglas in “Traffic” and just released “The Informant” with Matt Damon, said the production of the film is already advanced and the script, written by Richard LaGravanese, is almost completed.

The King of Pop “lives” even now in the hearts of fans worldwide. Immediately after his death the last rehearsal of Michael had been transformed into a documentary about the artist.
The film is called “This is it!” and will be released worldwide on October 28. The movie will run only two weeks and it’s considered an unique event in the global media.


Oprah’s movie – awarded at Toronto film festival

“Precious” is the story of a young 16 years old illiterate woman, who is physically and psychologically abused by her mother and repeatedly raped by her father.
The executive producer of the film is Oprah Winfrey. The movie is inspired by a short story written by Sapphire Posh. The production has enjoyed great success and was awarded at the Toronto Film Festival.
The movie addresses to those who look in the mirror and feel unsure of the person they see.
The festival took place in Toronto and lasted between 10-19 September, at the festival taking part over 300,000 people.
